"The Shadow of Age" (A Poem on Aging)

Forgetfulness, fatigue

It's my day -?

(Not all but many)

Heart like a burning tower

Mind, a maze of voices

I feel like I made of:

Rust-iron -.

It's hard to sleep these

Nights ?

The darkness is like light

A funeral -.

Really I do not care

Remember ?

Dreams,

Too many roads

(Vasto, dreams without end):

It's all fantasy

Indelible in the fog -.

Forgetfulness,sleepy

It's my day -?

(Not all but many)

It comes with age ?!

No. 1550 / 11-27-06

Note: There is a verbal magic in the poem ? the use of rhyme, I like James Joyce, children are often infected jingles (I have two of his books of original poetry, and this compound: the verbal magic, but I also like. Now that I'm almost 60, a personal care I mean later in life, you have to turn the game clock but a note ? once to apersonal touch of reality, and not to hide ? and hide it, I say that to get the full effect of aging, so is "The Shadow of Age". A poet should be able to get the same kind of feeling much the same way as the jingle child's ear from someone who will listen to a jingle to convey needs, older ages, the reader can often be more personal with one click approach ? how I wish it were here. In my book "Magic of the Andes to him:" I use this childish jingle the impression that I am currentlyAlso new in this poem is the impression, also called. They are older and do not often feel is right, but it is true, and no one thinks, have no squeaks in the back ? have earned, and it is creaking at the wisdom, the wisdom that says or could say: again. What is the glory of age, do not swim too much imagination ? and in most cases, I'm glad a lot of what I've heard all day is a blessing to forget.
