THE SIXTH ANNUAL MOON FESTIVAL: From 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday, this daylong celebration of Chinese art and culture takes over the Norton Museum of Art, 1451 S. Olive Ave., West Palm Beach. Families and friends mark the day admiring the harvest moon and eating moon cakes, a centuries-old tradition. The event features self-guided treasure hunts, Chinese games, an introduction to Tai Chi, holiday lantern-making for kids, calligraphy projects, docent-led tours, a porcelain jar-making demonstration and a curator?s conversation. Authentic Chinese music will be provided by the Ann Yao Trio. Chinese moon cakes and tea will be served. Normal museum admission applies. Info: (561) 832-5196; Norton.org.

?FLORIDA IN AND OUT OF VIEW?: This juried group photography exhibition by members of the Photo Salon opens from 6-8 p.m. today, at the Armory Art Center, 1700 Parker Ave., West Palm Beach. The exhibit features photographs of everyday scenes shown in unusual or unexpected ways, and it was juried by Holden Luntz, director of the Holden Luntz Gallery, Palm Beach. Through Oct. 15.
